Everton could allegedly make a loan swoop for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils’ Premier League rivals were linked with the Dutchman in the latter stages of the summer transfer market but were informed that the 24-year-old wasn’t available.
The Netherlands international has started twice for the Red Devils this season in the UEFA Champions League and EFL Cup but has only played six minutes of PL football in the 2021-22 season.
The midfielder could seek a transfer away from Old Trafford in early 2022 if Donny continues to find it difficult to secure division minutes for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
According to a recent report from the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees could reignite their interest in the former Ajax youngster at the start of next year, with Rafael Benitez’s side thinking about tabling a loan offer.
The report also states that James Rodriguez’s exit to Qatar should mean that transfer funds are available for them during the January transfer window.
Donny played the full 90 minutes versus West Ham United in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night but couldn’t prevent his side from suffering a 1-0 loss.
