The transfer period for Arsenal is still open.
Even though the Gunners have already spent close to £200 million on new players, it appears that they still have one trick up their sleeves.
Mohammed Kudus is indeed a subject of persistent rumours, and as of late, Football Transfers reports that the player himself is amenable to the transfer.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal are apparently interested in signing the Ghanaian, but this story claims that Kudus would much rather go with Arsenal.
One of the most exciting projects in Europe is Arsenal’s, especially if you’re a young player who can play numerous positions.
Certainly fits the bill is the £40 million man. Kudus is ideal for Mikel Arteta’s system since he can play everywhere across the attack and in the middle.
He also complements Arsenal’s quick-paced attacking approach. According to The Speeds Database, Kudus is one of the faster players in Europe. In fact, he has a better peak speed than Cody Gakpo, who is a well-known strong player.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, this transaction won’t be simple to complete.
The midfielder would choose to transfer to the Emirates over Stamford Bridge if given the choice between these two teams, despite the fact that Chelsea are reportedly further along in negotiations with Ajax on this deal.
Sadly, this has happened previously. Mykhaylo Mudryk was open about his desire to sign with Arsenal in January, but he was forced to move to west London rather than north London when Chelsea made a sizable bid to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Kudus is unquestionably a player to keep an eye on, that much is obvious.
