Michael Olise, a standout for Crystal Palace, is apparently being courted by Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Arsenal is reportedly interested in acquiring London-based and Premier League competitor Michael Olise from Crystal Palace during the summer transfer season.
According to the article, Olise has “expressed an interest” in Arsenal, who are now making efforts to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
Ben Foster of Wrexham relayed on his YouTube channel in August 2022 that Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in the 21-year-old, who can play as a winger or an offensive midfielder and was dubbed “outrageous” by Crystal Palace central midfielder Will Hughes.
Arsenal need not sign a Mike Oliver
Michael Olise is not necessary for Arsenal to acquire from Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window, in our opinion.
Although the 21-year-old attacking winger has performed admirably for Palace and is a very excellent and promising young player, Arsenal do not need to add another wide man.
There are enough offensive players on the Gunners’ roster.
The primary attacking possibilities for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta right now are Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson, and Marquinhos.
The Gunners’ top scorer is Gabriel Jesus, but they also have Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun on their roster to play up front.
What position would Olise fill on the Arsenal roster?
For Palace last season, the 21-year-old made 31 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League.
In those games, the attacking player contributed 11 assists and two goals.
Olise has so far appeared in 63 games in the Premier League.
In those contests, the France Under-21 international had four goals and 16 assists.
