Arsenal has had a lot of success in the academy in recent years.

Bukayo Saka rose through the Hale End ranks to become a club and country star.

Similarly, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah have both excelled for the Gunners.

And another Arsenal talent could make an exciting breakthrough in the coming years.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy has been named to Goal.com’s NxGn 2023 list.

Every year, Goal.com compiles a list of the young players with the most potential.

Norton-Cuffy is one of two Arsenal players to make the latest list, along with Ethan Nwaneri.

“In recent years, Arsenal’s Hale End academy has provided the first team with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, and Eddie Nketiah,” they wrote.

“However, Norton-Cuffy indicates that the production line is showing no signs of slowing down.

“A physical but technically-gifted right-back, Norton-Cuffy came to the attention of Gunners’ fans after he shone while on loan at Lincoln City in the third tier of English football last season.

“During the summer, the 19-year-old impressed for England as they won the U19s European Championship.

“And he has continued to develop this season in the Championship while on loan at Rotherham United and now Coventry City.”

Norton-Cuffy is a ‘outstanding’ talent with a bright future at Arsenal.

As a teenager, going out on loan to Championship clubs is a sign of high quality and potential.

Mikel Arteta will undoubtedly like what he’s seen from Norton-Cuffy and will most likely give him a closer look in preseason.

Arsenal currently has only two right-backs: Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White, who also plays center back.

Given this, there may be room for a breakout star to compete with Tomiyasu and White.
