Granit Xhaka has already decided to go to Bayer Leverkusen, but Arsenal won’t approve the transfer until they have a successor in place.

This is said in a story from the German publication Kicker, which claims that Xhaka’s comeback to the Bundesliga may be revealed soon.

It has been likely for some time that Granit Xhaka will leave Arsenal during the summer transfer window. The way he said goodbye to the crowd after the final game of the season seemed to have something special.

Arsenal delaying the approval of Xhaka’s departure
And it does seem like he is prepared to go right now. Prior to the summer transfer season, Kicker claims that Xhaka and Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement.

However, for the time being, Arsenal is delaying approving the transaction. Before approving Xhaka’s exit, the Gunners, according to Kicker, want to have a successor in place.

The guys of Mikel Arteta have taken a logical approach. During Euro 2020 in particular, there have been instances when Xhaka seemed to be about to leave. But in the end, nothing would change.

However, Xhaka came back to the team and spent his greatest two years with Arsenal. As a result, the Gunners undoubtedly believe that the Swiss would benefit if a transfer to Leverkusen were to fall through.

Without a doubt, it seems improbable. The previous few months have seen a number of prominent midfielders connected with Arsenal. If they were unable to recruit anyone, the fan base would be in uproar.

Xhaka should remain, according to Arsenal supporters. He was “exceptional.” But this is the right time for the Gunners to advance and pick up a level.

Once Mikel Arteta welcomes that statement signing through the door, it appears that Xhaka’s exit will follow.
