According to transfer insider Dean Jones, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson faces a difficult season if he stays at the club.
Henderson has been an important contributor to Jurgen Klopp’s team’s recent success. However, his performance has dipped in recent seasons.
The midfield of Liverpool has been identified as an area in need of improvement. They were heavily linked with a move for Jude Bellingham, but the club dropped their interest due to the high price tag.
The Reds have been linked with a number of other midfielders, including Brighton’s Alexis MacAllister, who is reportedly close to becoming their first signing.
Jordan Henderson’s role at the club will almost certainly be reduced as a result of the new additions. Keeping this in mind, Dean Jones has stated that the England star will need to be carefully managed.

“I believe he will remain at the club, but I believe he will have a very difficult season ahead of him because he will no longer be one of the first names on the team sheet, as he has been for many years.”
