Arsenal are interested in signing Bundesliga attacker Moussa Diaby, but according to recent reports, they will face stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to journalist Simon Collings, if Arsenal moves for Diaby this summer, they will face competition from PSG.

Their pursuit of the Bayer Leverkusen winger began in January. Meanwhile, they believe that the summer is the “best time” to sell the £65 million-rated ace.

The Gunners are hoping to keep their key players while also adding some summer reinforcements. This is so they can keep competing at the top.

In the Bundesliga, the “astonishing” talent is a joy to watch on the wing. In 167 appearances for Leverkusen, he has 49 goals and 49 assists, which is an excellent return.

Arsenal already has some promising wingers in Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. With them competing in multiple competitions, including the Champions League, they must ensure they have quality in depth.

Diaby joining the club would be a huge coup. The ‘astonishing’ long-term target would provide the club with much-needed depth in the attack.

Should they do so, Arsenal will be able to sign a large number of high-quality players this summer. This is because they unexpectedly competed for the Premier League title this season.

Without a doubt, this is an exciting summer for both the club and the fans. They must maintain this momentum and ensure that it is not a one-season blip.
