Erik Ten Hag has requested that Marcel Sabitzer, who is valued at £30 million, be signed by Manchester United on a permanent basis.

Earlier this week, Florian Plettenberg disclosed that the on-loan Austrian international would prefer to finalize his move to Old Trafford.

In addition, Ten Hag is pressuring the club administration to make the midfielder’s loan arrangement permanent, according to Football Insider.

The news source stated that Bayern Munich would ask for a transfer fee of about £30 million for the talented player, who rarely started at the Allianz Arena.

During his tenure with RB Leipzig, Sabitzer, an attacking-minded creative midfielder, frequently assisted in scoring goals.

After joining the Bavarians, he warmed the bench but now needs to leave the team to play regularly for the first team.

The Austrian star has recently been playing in the central attacking midfield position for Ten Hag, and he has performed exceptionally well.

Before the break, he scored in our FA Cup victory over Fulham in the quarterfinal. He assisted in last week’s game-winning goal against Brentford.

He did, however, play for 76 minutes in yesterday’s Premier League triumph over Everton.

Erik ten Hag has relied heavily on Sabitzer in the center of the park without Casemiro and Eriksen.
