ARSENAL AND VICTOR OSIMHEN TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Arsenal are in the race to sign Victor Osimhen in the next summer transfer window. However, they are only closely monitoring his situation. They have also not made a bid for him. However, they will certainly try to test the water with a bid in the next summer transfer window. Napoli are also ever of the rising interest in Victor Osimhen.

However, they are not in a hurry to sell the Nigerian forward. A report also claims that Arsenal will need to bid over 100 million to even start negotiation with the Serie A side. The report also claims that Napoli will not consider any bids now. They are fully focused on their title race and their Champions League knockout. The striker is also fully focused on helping Napoli for the rest of the season.

BAYERN MUNICH AND MANCHESTER UNITED LEAD THE RACE

According to reports, Arsenal are not the only ones in the race for his signature. Chelsea are also monitoring the situation. However, at the moment, Bayern Munich and Manchester United lead the race for his signature. A report also claims that both the clubs are ready to pay big to sign a marquee striker in the next summer transfer window.

Bayern Munich want to sign a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski. Whereas, Manchester United want to sign a long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. Hence, their needs of a marquee striker are bigger than Arsenal. The Gunners already have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah. They also have Florian Balogun on their books. Balogun is currently the highest scorer in Ligue 1.

Hence, Arsenal know that big clubs are going to line-up moves for Victor Osimhen. Hence, they must make sure that they have the money and ambition to sign him. Osimhen is currently helping Napoli win the Serie A title very easily. They are currently 15 points clear of the second placed Inter Milan.

Ockout tie. Arsenal, on the other hand, are also not in a hurry to sign Osimhen.

Osimhen has made 53 appearances for the Serie A side since he joined from Lille in the summer of 2019. In those appearances, he has managed to score an impressive 11 goals, despite playing in a bit-part role. He scored 20 goals in all competitions while on international duty with the Nigerian national team. As of now, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are mostly likely to sign him.

This news will come as a worry to Arsenal fans as they are yet to replace Alexandre Lacazette this season. The 33-year-old Frenchman could leave in the summer and Osimhen could be seen as the perfect replacement. It remains to be seen if Arsenal will make a move for him in the summer or not.

Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as the club looks for a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette. The Nigerian international has been in fine form for the Serie A side, scoring 11 goals in 53 appearances, as well as 20 goals for the Nigeria national team. Osimhen is said to be a wanted man this summer with Manchester United and Bayern Munich at the front of the queue for the in-demand Nigerian striker.

However, a move for Osimhen may not come easy for Arsenal due to Napoli’s high asking price of over 100 million. But should Arsenal be willing to pay the asking price, it would be a huge statement by the Gunners and could lead to a successful campaign next season.

Victor Osimhen has the quality to be a success at the Emirates as he has the talent and ability to make an impact in the Premier League. His pace, trickery, and goal-scoring ability make him the perfect Lacazette replacement, should the Frenchman decide to move on.

For Arsenal, there is still the unknown regarding their own season and the future of Mikel Arteta and the club’s current form. With that in mind, it could prove difficult to convince Osimhen to move to the Emirates, as it is reported that both Manchester United and Bayern Munich are ahead in the race for his signature.

Overall, Arsenal will have their work cut out this summer if they are to land Osimhen. With that said, Arsenal fans will be hoping the club can win the race for the Nigeria international’s signature and it could be the perfect way to prepare for a successful season next year.
