Manuel Locatelli, a midfielder for Juventus, is a target for Arsenal.
CalcioMercatoWeb said that the Arsenal are now prepared to trade for the Italian international midfielder with Kieran Tierney.
Since joining Juventus, Locatelli has fallen short of expectations, and this summer, he has been linked with moves elsewhere.
Before he made the decision to sign with the Turin giants, the player was under Arsenal’s radar, and it appears that the Gunners are still interested in signing him.
The 25-year-old box-to-box midfielder may be the right addition for Arsenal as they need to add more talent and depth in the center of the field. When he assisted Italy in winning the 2021 European Championships, the 25-year-old was considered one of the finest young midfielders in the world.
Unfortunately, since moving to Juventus, his growth has not gone as planned. A transfer to the Premier League could enable him to regain his form and self-assurance. Next season, Thomas Partey could have the right companion in the Italian international.
Juventus may not participate in the Champions League the next year, as the Italian team is presently having financial difficulties. It could be best for everyone involved if Locatelli leaves.
In terms of Tierney, the £25 million Scottish left-back has slipped down Arsenal’s priority list and is no longer a crucial starter for them. The defender must find regular football somewhere, but if Juventus can guarantee him a spot in the first squad, it may be a thrilling chance for the youngster.
