In preparation for a summer transfer, Arsenal intends to meet with Ryan Gravenberch’s agents and representatives.
Gravenberch is expected to leave Bayern after failing to make an impact after signing a £16 million deal from Ajax.
The Dutchman has the interest of several clubs. According to reports over the weekend, Liverpool has already spoken with Gravenberch’s representatives and manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the young midfielder.
Liverpool will have a tough time acquiring Gravenberch, though.
Journalist Santi Aouna for Foot Mercato claims that Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in investigating a trade for Gravenberch. Aouna claims on Twitter that the midfielder wants to play more and that this could lead to a transfer.
Gravenberch has not quite made the impact he had planned to make at Munich despite being praised as being a “complete player” and one of the best young prospects in Europe.
As everyone is aware, Arsenal will be trying to strengthen its quality and depth this summer. After choosing Jorginho’s expertise in January, a midfield prospect like Gravenberch would be the best option.
