Arsenal spent more than £200 million on talent during the summer transfer window in an effort to maintain the standards achieved during the 2022–23 Premier League season.

Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz, and Declan Rice have already signed with the Gunners, and David Raya is expected to follow in a move that is expected to cost in the neighbourhood of £30 million.

With rumours concerning Folarin Balogun’s future heating up, there has been more speculation about people who might leave the Emirates this summer in addition to those who might arrive.

Folarin Balogun might quit Arsenal.

The Hale End graduate’s stint in north London appears to be coming to an end after his return from a season-long loan with Ligue 1 team Stade Reims, with a number of clubs following the 22-year-old’s movements.

According to French media reports, Monaco made a proposal for the American international that was over €40 million (£34 million), but the Gunners turned it down.

The striker, who appears destined to go after missing the most of Mikel Arteta’s preseason plans, has also been linked to West Ham and Inter Milan.

Losing the goal scorer is a terrible possibility for everyone at the Emirates, but his departure might also serve as an inspiration to other players and pave the way for a youngster to replace him.

Amario Cozier-Duberry: how excellent is he?

Amario Cozier-Duberry, described as a “talent” by U23 scout Antonio Mango, is one player who might gain from Balogun’s anticipated departure.

The 18-year-old has advanced through the ranks at Hale End and is mostly used on the right wing, though he is also capable of playing in the centre and on the left side of the attack.

The talented prodigy, who played a significant role for the academy, contributed to 20 goals last season in 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 and providing eight assists.

The adolescent was compared by football.london writer Kaya Kaynak to fellow academy graduate Bukayo Saka, who requires no introduction, in her interview with GIVEMESPORT.

“He usually plays on the right wing, but he’s very adaptable and can play a lot of different positions,” says folarin Balogun of the Reims-Arsenal-Ligue 1.

similar to how Saka behaved when he first joined the team. Cozier-Duberry, who first played left-back but is now a right flank, is unquestionably capable of doing that.

Given the club’s increased emphasis on developing young talent, the young player is a great option to fill the spot in the squad that Balogun is anticipated to leave vacant.

The Gunners are the team to be with as an academy star on the verge of greater things since Saka has stormed the Premier League since his entrance to senior level, Gabriel Martinelli is a solid starter for the side at just 22, and club captain Martin Odegaard is just 24 years of age himself.

Cozier-Duberry, who was once praised as “unplayable” by U18’s coach and former Arsenal phenom Jack Wilshere, may become the next great thing in north London by taking over for the American international.

The Gunners will feel some pain from losing a Hale End product who wasn’t giving his all for the team, but Arteta might find his new bright star in the 18-year-old electric potential.
