Even while some Liverpool fans may still like to see another midfielder added to the squad before the transfer market ends on September 1st, Jurgen Klopp is allegedly ready to add a left-sided center-half to his defence in order to improve his defensive options.

The new addition to Liverpool “I always watched Gerrard play at Liverpool,” said the endo.

Piero Hincapie of Bayer Leverkusen is among the names mentioned in connection with a move to Anfield.

Ben Jacobs previously stated that the 21-year-old would ‘love’ to join Liverpool, and the journalist has now turned to X to give a new update on the Ecuadorian, stating he might be available for as cheap as £35m.

Hincapie aspires to play in the Premier League. No offers yet. might be offered for £35 million. I assume that Hincapie would push for the trade at a price around this one.🇪🇨

In his 43 appearances for Leverkusen during the previous season (across all competitions), Hincapie shown his versatility by playing left back on 12 occasions and a winger further upfield on 6 occasions (transfermarkt).

The versatility of the Ecuadorian international would seem to appeal to Klopp and co. Even though the player only recently extended his contract with the Bundesliga team until 2027 back in February, he is undoubtedly one to watch.

Many players find it difficult to pass up the chance to play in the best league in the world, so it will be fascinating to see if we act now with deadline day rapidly approaching.

We’ll simply have to wait and watch, but ex-Red Xabi Alonso is presently in charge of the German team, so the Spaniard might play an interesting part in the trade.
