According to a trustworthy journalist, Manchester United is interested in acquiring a central talisman to replace Casemiro in January.
Casemiro gets a departure offer.
The Daily Mail claims that the club’s football director, John Murtough, has flown to Saudi Arabia to court possible suitors for Casemiro, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Anthony Martial, who have all been declared available for transfer next month.
Erik ten Hag will need to look far and wide for a worthy successor if the defensive midfielder for the Red Devils accepts an offer from an unidentified team in that nation. The player is rumoured to have received an offer recently.
Given that he is currently Sean Dyche’s second-best-performing defensive player this season (WhoScored – Everton statistics), Amadou Onana of Everton looks to have been mentioned as a potential option.
Chiefs are considering giving the Belgium international another chance to join Old Trafford, even if a deal fell through before the deadline. The international has apparently been a long-term desire of the hierarchy.

Since joining Everton last summer, the Dakar native has scored three goals and contributed the same amount of assists. His willingness to participate on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field makes him a well-rounded player (Transfermarkt – Onana statistics).
Ten Hag’s target is a highly adaptable player who has been used in five different positions since entering the professional ranks. He can play three positions in the midfield, centre defence, and even centre forward. As a result, he can offer excellent cover in other areas of the field.
Because of all the things that Onana can accomplish at once, football talent scout Jacek Kulig has called him a “one-man army.” If the board can close this deal in the upcoming weeks, it would be a huge win for Ten Hag.
