David Ornstein has reported that there is still no agreement in place for William Saliba to extend his contract with Arsenal. The 21-year-old Frenchman has been a revelation for the Gunners this season, helping them to the top of the Premier League. His current deal runs until 2024, but the club have the option to extend it by one year. Ornstein stated that Saliba has expressed his desire to stay at the club, so it is now up to the two parties to come to an agreement. Saliba’s loan spells have been beneficial, as he has shown great composure at the back and has formed an excellent partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes.
