According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal target Mahmoud Dahoud will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

Arsenal have been linked with Dahoud for some time now, and this is a significant development in their pursuit of the midfielder. The contract of the 27-year-old will expire in the summer.

“Mahmoud Dahoud will make a decision on his future club soon,” Romano tweeted.

“Premier League clubs approached him about a free transfer, and he appears to be the most likely destination — while Serie A is also interested.”

“Dahoud will leave Borussia Dortmund as a free agent within the next few weeks.”

With such a talented player available on a free transfer, it would come as no surprise if many clubs began to make contract offers to the Germany international.

Dahoud, an Arsenal target, is available on a free transfer.

This season, the Gunners have looked strong in central midfield. Despite this, adding another high-quality player like Dahoud would be a great option.

The German has demonstrated his ability to defend and attack at Borussia Dortmund, which is a valuable asset for any club.

Arsenal should definitely consider signing Dahoud on a free transfer. It is practically a steal to avoid having to pay direct money to a club for the player.

Dortmund pays the “great footballer” around £66,000 per week. With other clubs interested in the midfielder, the Gunners may have to pay a bit more. However, it should not be excessive.

For the first time since 2016-17, Arsenal will also compete in the Champions League.

Many of Arsenal’s players are in their early twenties. As a result, someone with experience in this competition, such as Dahoud, would be ideal.
