According to Mirror, Arsenal is keeping an eye on Pedro Neto, the attacker for Wolverhampton Wanderers, given his impressive performance in the Premier League this year.

The Portugal international was initially considered by the Gunners in the summer of 2022, but a deal fell through because of Wolves’ transfer demands.

Prior to the World Cup in Qatar, the 23-year-old sustained a significant ankle injury, and he didn’t return until the last few months of the 2022–2023 season.

According to recent reports, the Gunners are planning to make an approach for him in the New Year; however, given his increasing significance at Wolves, a winter trade may be difficult.

Saka would have a great understudy in Neto.

Though he can play both left and right flank, the former Braga player feels most at ease in the latter position.

With seven league games played this season, he has one goal and four assists, demonstrating his incredible form.

In addition to his goal involvements, he has excelled for Wolves in the attacking third with his dribbling and movement.

He recently produced an incredible solo run against Manchester City that led to Ruben Dias’ own goal.

Neto is prepared, in our opinion, to take the next step in his career. He would be an ideal right flank backup for Bukayo Saka.

Furthermore, anytime Mikel Arteta wants to give Saka a break, the Portuguese might also have a fair amount of starts from the position.

With his versatility as a left flank player, he may potentially play next to the Gunners graduate.

In the summer of 2022, Wolves requested £50 million for him; given his incredible form, they might be able to hold out for a comparable amount.

Given that Neto is an open admirer of Arsenal, he would have no trouble reaching a personal agreement.

Arsenal’s standing in the league may influence their opinion on the amount. Money might be spent on him if they win the title race.
