According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, who spoke exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, Manchester United has made it “very clear” to Eric Bailly and Alex Telles that they are both free agents at Old Trafford this summer.

Erik ten Hag’s plans for the upcoming season do not appear to include the Red Devils’ tandem.

Eric Bailly and Alex Telles were moved on loans to Sevilla and Marseille, respectively, this season, and as a result, they have been forgotten about at Manchester United.

After being in and out of the team due to injury and suspension, the former’s time in France has been dubbed “a mess” by Ivory Coast manager Patrice Beaumelle.

“This is a mess. One of the finest defenders I have ever known, he still is and always will be. He was unable to continue because of pain in his hamstrings, according to Beaumelle (through Manchester Evening News, via Africa Foot United).

The fact that Telles is scheduled to return to Old Trafford after his stint at Sevilla suggests that his future is also up in the air.

According to journalist Dean Jones, Bailly, Telles, and Brandon Williams should be released from the club this summer because they are only “passengers” there.

Additionally, Romano has stated that Bailly and Telles, who make a combined £200,000 per week, will be “available on the market” when the transfer window opens.

What has Romano stated on the prospects of Bailly and Telles at Man United?
They’ve been quite explicit, Romano said to GIVEMESPORT. They are aware that Marseille won’t exercise the option to sign Eric Bailly. So he’ll go back to the club. Alex Telles and Sevilla are comparable. Both players will be back, but they will also be for sale.

Who else may Manchester United try to unload this summer?
The Dutchman may have selected many team players to leave to make room for new arrivals, as ten Hag is sure to want reinforcements before the summer transfer window.

Centre-backs Due to their inability to establish themselves as regular starts ahead of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez this season, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof must decide on their futures at Old Trafford.

Other prominent members of the senior squad, including Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial, may end their stays in Manchester this summer because they find it difficult to play for the first team.

In order to prepare for what may be a crowded market at Old Trafford, ten Hag has many players on his roster who could provide a big revenue flow.
