‘I don’t want Liverpool to win the league’: Michail Antonio continues vendetta against Reds

Michail Antonio isn’t a player that Liverpool supporters think much about, but judging from his most recent statements, that is definitely not the case.

Regarding Beckenbauer, Klopp said, “He was an even better person than a fantastic football player.”

“I don’t want Liverpool to win the league,” the West Ham forward stated in an interview with The Players Channel on BBC Sounds.

“Because I still receive emails from you Liverpool supporters. Get disoriented! I’m expressing it with a bold face. Liverpool should not win the league, in my opinion! Approach me! Arsenal understands. Man City, understand. I have nothing further to say about it.

This isn’t the first time that the 33-year-old has publicly revealed a disdain for Jurgen Klopp’s team and it typically ends with him being embarrassed with his performances against us.

The Jamaican international’s continuous attempts to join the Reds would presumably raise questions from some, but it appears that he is truly a glutton for punishment in this particular instance.

You can appreciate how annoying it is for our supporters to constantly bring up his embarrassing background, but using quotes like the one above can help make sure that doesn’t happen.

Naturally, we’ll all be hoping that Virgil van Dijk will hold the Premier League trophy when it’s presented in May and that we can remind our beloved Hammer of his remarks.

Let’s bank this one for the time being and hope we can chuckle later!

That being said, it could be a pity to cease bothering the attacker in the interim if he is already receiving messages from our fans.
