Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund from Serie A side Atalanta. Reports suggest that Real Madrid, Napoli and Juventus are also interested in the 20-year-old, with Atalanta demanding a fee of €50m (approx. £44m) for his services. Hojlund has been likened to Erling Haaland due to his pace, finishing and dribbling abilities, and his manager has even compared the two Scandinavians. It remains to be seen if Hojlund can emulate Haaland’s success in the Premier League should he make the move to Old Trafford.

United’s ambitions in the transfer market to rejuvenate their team is clear and Hojlund looks set to be another exciting addition. Should Hojlund complete the move to Old Trafford, he must know that it would not be an easy transition as the expectations at Manchester United levels are high.
Despite this, a move to Old Trafford would surely offer Hojlund the perfect platform for him to showcase his talent and become one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.
