Amidst interest in the German star from Liverpool, Real Madrid is allegedly “very interested” in signing Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich.

The 20-year-old is Bayern’s best player going forward, but recent speculations have suggested that the young player is not entirely happy about not being a weekly starter.

What you should know about Toulouse vs. Liverpool

Real Madrid is reportedly very interested in signing Musiala if a new contract cannot be reached before next summer. Musiala has an existing contract with the Bundesliga giants that expires in June 2026, and a new one has not yet been agreed upon.

Because Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the Bayern Munich star, it was stated by the same outlet last week that Liverpool is interested in signing the offensive midfielder.

The signing of the Germany international in the future would be the icing on the cake for the Premier League’s biggest clubs, who have already added a number of midfield players to their roster this summer.

Real Madrid presents fierce competition for Liverpool, of course, and Jude Bellingham may have a significant influence on Musiala’s final destination as the two are close friends from their time spent playing together for England.

The Premier League team may yet pay a price for their desire to lure the former star of Borussia Dortmund to Anfield this summer.

It will be extremely difficult for either of the two European powerhouses to entice Musiala to leave the Allianz Arena anytime soon, though, as Bayern will do everything in their power to retain him when the time comes.
