Would this Real Madrid free agent be the“perfect”backup for Saka next season?

This season, Arsenal has performed at a higher level; they have dominated. Almost every Premier League team they have faced has been destroyed by them. The Premier League championship would be the greatest accomplishment Arteta could lead Arsenal to, but even if they fall short, they would return to Champions League play after a six-year hiatus.

To show that they have reclaimed their status as dominant teams in the Premier League and can guarantee our continued participation in the Champions League for many years to come, Arsenal will need to be stronger overall than they have been previously.

If Arteta wants to retain their dominance and be insufferable to their rivals, they must succeed in the transfer window. It could be wise to sign free agent Marco Asensio. Asensio will be a free agent in the summer if his role at Real Madrid stays the same. One of the big teams interested in him is Arsenal, and Gabby Agbonlahor thinks he would be the Gunners’ dream summer acquisition.

It’s precisely the kind of signature they require. Now, Asensio isn’t playing as frequently as he would like, according to Gabby on Football Insider.

“But he’s done a lot of nice things for Real Madrid over a long period of time. He maneuvers through confined places and plays with flair.

Arsenal will be looking for candidates that possess these qualities this summer. And you sometimes get the impression from looking at their bench that they could use a couple more high-caliber additions.

“To me, he is ideal. Arsenal has to bolster this team if they want to continue competing for the championship every year.

Marco Asensio may be the ideal right flank backup for Bukayo Saka, much as Leandro Trossard is for Gabriel Martinelli. Arteta will need to change his team regularly to keep it fresh because Arsenal will probably play in the Champions League next season. If Saka takes a break now and again, Asensio won’t cause too much of a stir.
