According to trade specialist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal will make an offer for Declan Rice following West Ham United’s Europa Conference League championship game.

Declan Rice will sign with whom?
The West Ham United captain has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Arsenal, meaning the only thing left to do is come to an agreement on a fair transfer cost. The Gunners have been making good progress in their chase of Rice.

The Englishman prefers to transfer to north London, but Manchester United has expressed interest and is presently “waiting in the wings” to potentially hijack the deal, so there may still be competition for his signing.

The 24-year-old has also been linked with a transfer to Bayern Munich, but talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan reports that the player prefers to attempt to win the Premier League with one of the major English teams.

Mikel Arteta is eager to bolster his team to give them the greatest chance to contend for the championship again next season. Arsenal pushed Manchester City all the way last season before falling just short.

The West Ham midfielder is a top target, and Romano now asserts that an offer will be submitted following Wednesday night’s Europa Conference League final.

Bayern is another prospective suitor that has been mentioned, although the transfer expert is eager to emphasise that “nothing is done or close yet.”

Does Rice intend to join Arsenal?
The Gunners should be in a good position to win the race to recruit the England international since, as was previously said, he prefers to transfer to north London this summer and personal conditions have apparently been agreed upon.

The central midfielder wants to stay in London and play in the Champions League, so a transfer to the Emirates Stadium makes perfect sense. However, it is thought improbable that he will go to Chelsea.

The £60k per week virtuoso, who was dubbed “sensational” by the media, recorded 79 tackles in the Premier League last season—the ninth-highest total in the top division—and was rated as West Ham’s outstanding performer by WhoScored.

The midfielder led the Hammers in interceptions with an average of 1.7 per game, and he also showed off his offensive skills with an average of one critical pass and 0.9 dribbles.

Rice would be a great addition to Arteta’s team because to his variety of skills, and the Gunners are in a strong position to sign him.
